The product is intended to extend the web content authoring environment of Office SharePoint Server 2007 by providing cross-browser compatibility and support for the Macintosh platform. The r.a.d.editor offers the same functional level as the integrated rich text editor and will be provided by Telerik at no cost to all registered customers of Office SharePoint Server 2007.
Telerik r.a.d.editor can be used in the following scenarios:
rich-text filed control in SharePoint forms (in Lists, etc.)
rich-text editor WebPart
Web Content Management scenario

Dates were leaked last week - but here is the official announcement that 2007 Microsoft Office System has RTMed (Released to Manufacturing) and will be available for businesses by end of November.
