Off-line VHD mounting
I've just installed Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1 Beta 2 ... it now comes with a utility called VHDMount which allows you to mount the VHD and access its contents as a local drive, avoiding the need to fire up the VM to inspect and copy data to it.
