Ive updated my
SharePoint+ /
MCMS+ site.
It's now powered with a content management mechanism that uses InfoPath for content authoring and Windows Sharepoint Service for the storage.
The WSS repository can be seen
here.
An item can be added by selecting "Fill out this form" (users that don't have access to the WSS site can ignore the InfoPath logons by hitting Escape and then submitting the form using the "Submit by email" button).

Jay posted an comment
here about an issue he is experiencing with the SQL Report Pack for SharePoint - or more specifically the DEP tool RPDataExtraction.exe.
Dino pointed me to an
Upcoming KB Article to address issue in the SQL Report Pack for SharePoint.
Redaction is the careful editing of a document to remove confidential information.
The
Microsoft Office Word 2003 Redaction Add-in makes it easy for you to mark sections of a document for redaction. You can then redact the document so that the sections you specified are blacked out. You can either print the redacted document or use it electronically. In the redacted version of the document, the redacted text is replaced with a black bar and cannot be converted back to text or retrieved.

Microsoft Office Communicator 2005 is an integrated communications client, enabling information workers to communicate in real time. As the recommended client for Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005, Communicator 2005 integrates with Microsoft Office System applications and enterprise telephony infrastructure.
The 'Presence Controls for Microsoft Office Communicator 2005' are now available for download. These are designed to provide presence information and real time collaboration options to Microsoft Windows Forms, Web Forms and GUI applications that are based on the Microsoft Win32 application programming interface.
The controls provide developers of these applications with the ability to drag-and-drop the control from the toolbox in Visual Studio onto applications and provide access to the capabilities of Communicator in an easy to incorporate manner.

If you have installed IE7 then you might have a few problems with certain sites that check for the browser type but do not recognise the new browser.
The IEBlog discusses
Internet Explorer 7 User Agent String and shows the checks that developers should make.
Also gives clues on how you can amend the registry settings so that the browser can resemble a different version of IE ... so if you have issues accessing sites then you can make your IE7 send a user agent of "MSIE 6.0". Scripts to switch the registry between IE6 and IE7 are
here (restart the browser after invoking).

Back in June I blogged about the beta of Microsoft Acrylic - a new illustration, painting and graphics tool that provides exciting creative capabilities for designers working in print, web, video, and interactive media.
The software has now made a second beta release as a Community Technology Preview and is available for
download.
This new release will be of interest to software developers, as images can now be exported to XAML used by the
Windows Presentation Foundation (Avalon) that underlies the Windows Vista operating system. You can watch a demo of the XAML export features in Acrylic -
